Can we please just stop being surprised?

Can we please stop acting like this is normal behavior, and lending legitimacy to it by reponding in any reasonable way?   It isnt legitimate, it doesnt make sense to anyone but the author, and it will never be more than one person's opion, no matter the flowery words or "airs" pretended.
