It'd be great if entire posts didn't get deleted so people could follow whats going on if you miss a day or two around here.

Kind of curious as to why what anyone does in their fantasy roleplay home is anyone’s business if not a part of the Home? Why would men of another home even care what happened in this particular home not theirs? Maybe just maybe everyone should mind the business that is their own.

What you do in your home is your own business, yes, moet. But that sort of behavior doesn't encourage people to start again, or give the roleplay in general a good name. I'll be the first here to say that "Gor is dangerous", though you can't really see it in Buzzen much anymore, but it's sad when a person/people you trust decide it'd be ok to stab someone to death for no reason other than watching people realizing that all the time they spent making a character, was a waste of said time.

I'd not want to stick around a place where that sort of behavior was acceptable, and I think neither would you, and it'd be considered acceptable because no one else would speak up. I was told not long ago that this happened a long time ago, and I shouldn't get upset about it, and I wasn't when i first read it. I do get concerned though, because there aren't that many rp'ers left, because of similar behaviors not too long ago, in a cosmic-time sense. Anyway, guess this is done if nothing else.

Nope, not gonna delete comments, because I come armed to battles of wits, nor am i scared of being wrong. I also feel that debates are good for people, and disagreeing with someone doesn't necessarily mean they're hated, just that they might be mistaken. Or congenitally stupid. I see you deleted mine though. But no, yours can stay. And that question's directed at the person who made the blog in the link. As it happened a long time ago, i was told, i no longer care. Have fun with it.

? is there anyone RPing at all anymore? This one has been very busy but leaves the account logged on. And many times days will go past with no one even entering the room.

Well due to events that happened in the past few month, people don't visit CPO much anymore. Bart being Bart and doing Bart things, and someone getting caught dualling in a place where it was sworn to Heaven and back that no one would dare do it there because everyone was too righteous and would *never* ever do such a dishonorable and disavowable thing. There's a verse in the Bible somewhere about avoiding the appearance of evil, I believe? Might be why Buzzen's Gor section gets avoided.

I know. See, he doesn't stick around all that long. He shows up once a year or so, get all happy that there's people he knows, starts some rp drama, maybe a home or joins one and sometimes tries to take over, eventually does something stupid, gets confronted for being stupid publicly, throws a snit when he can't talk his way out of it then leaves for around another year or so, at which time he hopes that people mostly forgot or moved on that remembered his past actions.

This usually kills the home or at least destroys its reputation. Sometimes it's one he makes so no major loss, but occasionally it's someone else's, and well, CPO doesn't get visitors much anymore. He had help this time, though, but the results were the same. I'm sorry it turned out this way but i figured certain people who'd been around for a while there would know...but I guess they didn't. Or refused to see what was happening. Not everything was Bart's fault though. He had help.

Watching the blogs the last couple of days, I am not sure why anyone would want to poke a toe into Gor to try their hand at roleplay. There is nothing but fighting and unnecessary drama and full of bullies. There is a woman screaming at men to tell a slave not to blog, and an owned slave at that, yet when her owner, a man, said to step off his slave she then turned around and then made a point to call out the rest of the Gorean men to stand up and make things go HER way [c]

And when that woman did not get her way still she again verbally attacked the roleplaying men as if they are sexual predators and she now a victim they didn’t defend. What kind of crazy person does that and why is it allowed and why does anyone respond to her or include her in something the rest of you seem to be trying to preserve and while she seems hellbent on destroying it? Some of you look pretty fun but the crazy over shadows the fun and maybe that is why no one wants to come roleplay.

faith is so glad she stopped reading the paper. it is nice to see some activity online. It would be great if our energy put into such things as this were instead put into role playing.

Yeah...her. We try not to talk about her much. She's the neighborhood narcissist, with some manic/depressive issues and a slice of OPD. She'd broke some rules regarding changing characters, you're only allowed one at a time in this server, and she thinks she's exempt from it. She's not dualling, exactly, but she refuses to follow what few rules we enforce. It's her internet, her name, and the rest of us can fall in line. Well of course we aren't going to.

So she plays the righteous zealot whenever she gets the opportunity, and preaches from her little soap box about how awful everyone is except her, and how we should do things and we're awful for not obeying, and acts the victim when people point out she's not the saint she's acting like. She's really good at acting the victim when she wants to. But since she hasn't broken any of the ToS, and got caught, we can't get her banned from the server.

She hasn't been caught, because in her more lucid moments she deletes blogs that will get her in trouble with the staff, so most of her blogs might last 10 minutes, if that. Everything else of hers looks like what you see, someone who can't keep a lid on the crazy. For instance, I was in the Port Kar room some months back and a very good friend of mine who got enslaved came in, didn't know i was there. Long story short, slave gets rescued, blame gets tossed around, and i get this dm from her

telling me how i should have used a couple Biblical ways to handle getting her back, including working as an indentured slave myself until the guy who had her had a grinch moment and let her go to me. Since when was the Bible ever in Gor? And then proceeded to tell me how awful I was, and that it's people like me who act in such uncivilized manners that bring Gor down, blah blah. I had a sword. Swords are enough. So I'm a bad guy, and the moral high road got trampled again.

I play an Outlaw, see. City people, and people that like rules, are free game, to me. If I see something I like, i take it. This includes slaves, because like i said up there, i have a sword. There' not that many people left that can stop me anyhow. I've mellowed a lot, when it comes to this sort of thing, but the tendencies are there. So its hard to ignore this lady when she gets on the soap box and tells people how to play their characters. Wish we could do it better, but oh well.

But i do find it interesting that bullying made it to Gor rp. I've never considered myself one, though people might consider me one by the way i talk. I don't think i've actually shoved any babies and took their candy in years. The last big thing I did was save one of my longest-time friends from a collar. After that...can't think of anything. The biggest fights i get into are debates on whether or not i should cook in camp or let Alina do it. If i'm a bully, it's over stew meat.

𝓂𝑜𝑒̈𝓉 you are assuming all things that profess to be Gor - are. They aren't. This has been the issue all along in every Gorean venue in existence. You cant pick and choose certain aspects then add your own spin to them like electricity and lights and God knows what ever else and call it Gor.

Buzzen needs to make posts 'like-able' . Thumbs up thumbs down, whatever.

to answer faith yes some of Us still RP and not just stay to blogs and papers but life offline always comes first and well have not done much traveling like I would like to..that will change soon enough maybe even show when others are around and not during a dead time
