so whats Your Belief?

I dont believe going to church every week and tossing 50 bucks on the plate will buy you a ticket to *eternity

I dont believe shoving your religion in any ones face will give you a ticket to *eternity

I do believe that if the *Church donated half its income there would be no world poverty

I do believe harming any one or any thing in the cause of religion is simply an excuse

I dont need religion to prop up my life, I simply try and live the good life and look after my family

If You find this offensive, thats fine, as it is for me to find the ear bashing of religion annoying.

Most of all the worlds wars and hassles have been caused by one thing "Religion"

My Mother taught me if you need to pray step outside and say what ya gotta say, it's easier for whomever is listening to hear me with no roofs in the way. She & my grandmother taught the family, Sunday was for family & big meals together no matter what the season or the weather. And my father taught me my favorite verse out of the Bible. Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. He taught me that for free, under a tree & I try truly to live hate free. Yup that's what I believe.

Very good , well spoken Judas

I believe in a god, any most of my views may be Catholic based (due to how I was raised..and being Italian) however I do not believe that you must attend church and make a donation every week to be considered a good person. I do not believe that religion is something that should be forced..pushed...it is a personal decision. In real life I have seen situations where people should of been lived (and died) and situations where people who scientifically should of died (instead lived).

I have seen amazing people who had a strong religious belief..and amazing people who did not...and then there are corrupt people who try to push their views down other peoples throats (and usually are the least moral of all). In the end, I do not find your post offensive in any way. What I find offensive is people who say "if you do not practice religion, or are not religious you are a bad person"..that is what I consider offensive...that and people who hide behind religion to further their

Good is within a person, not whether they believe or have religion. Do I believe? well that's my personal thoughts and while any who ask will be given the answer, whether to their liking or not is another story, its just that, mine. Looking back over the centuries there is one constant that rears its ugly head in all disagreements, arguments and ultimately wars.... currently we see it, hear about it and witness it even on a daily basis. To turn something inherently good into something evil .Ctd

is in itself going against everything ever written about the subject in its totality... how can something this good and pure be so bad? Well its simple, its not, the people are. The subject itself is open to interpretation of each individuals thoughts and need/want to believe, the relaying of that religion or living its philosophies is also open to that interpretation and those who portray it as they do, are quite simply bad apples. Is there good in everyone or is it all just a myth ?

I believe I am a good person, I care about others, I am passionate about things I believe in, I abide by laws, mostly, I love with all of me and I try not to judge people without knowing both sides of the story, that doesn't make me a God, well except in my own eyes and that's allowed through personal interpretation ! ... just saying.

I believe woodchucks are descendants of a vastly superior race to ours that got stuck on this planet eons ago and the sooner we learn to chuck wood as they do, the sooner we can learn to not be a race of psychotic apes

This is from a movie but I find it relevant...

Hospitaller: I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of God. Holiness is in right action and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What God desires is here
[points to head]
Hospitaller: and here
[points to heart]
Hospitaller: and what you decide to do every day, you will be a good man - or not.

According to Saul who became the Apostle Paul. Man is born evil and it is up to him to decide to be saved. I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. However, I do not believe in pushing my beliefs on others as they are something that I hold deeply and personal. Robak, I am sorry you feel that way. Perhaps He has never left, but His children have. Just something to think about.

kyri the shit ive seen means there is no way my mind will change on this .unless hard evidence is shown to me to prove there is someone ..i respect what others wish to believe in,and do not look down or scorn them

TY for a nice constructive discussion. Every One has a opinion on Religion and You know whats scary ? No One is right or wrong, until that day where its proven then Who knows. This post wasn't meant to offend just state a point of view. Well done to all.

No I'm pretty sure I'm the only correct one here. May you all chuck in peace.

No one will truly know. That is what faith and hope is all about. When we lose that we lose everything. I experienced a near death experience so I can only speak for myself. But I do believe the Lord will reveal himself to each of us when the time is right. Thank you Judas for starting a good blog.

I shared a video on my facebook *The typist* deplicting how Love is blind. It was x-ray images of individuals behind a screen then reveal themselves. The message is: Love has no gender, love has no race, love has no disability, love has no age limits, love has no religion. Love has no labels. To me this speaks what life should be about. Religion is very personal enlightening entity of one's person. Who's right is it to tell what another believes as long as they are doing no harm to others
