when in serve, and a description of a certain vessel is said a few times, and you approach the Free, and They action takes said vessel but its totally not what you have described....

Attention to Detail... people, free and slave alike, do not take the time to make a proper entrance into the room. They do not describe how they got there, where they came from, why they are there, or even describe what they look like and are wearing.

being pulled into roleplays that i don't agree with or know anything about...coddling by FW like petting or parking with them and there are things that i need to do per my Master...OOC when somebody ask questions or having discussions and the Free turn the OOC into Gor and want to do a repercussion of said OOC...when the room is in role play and a person comes in and ask OOC questions or comments OOC throughout the role play

People entering a room when there's a spar going on and then take up bandwidth greeting and being greeted. Rude and annoying. The same thing applies to a dance. I'd rather see the spar or dance than 42 "Tal's" and "Greetings".

~when people come in asking what the news and gossip is while others are rping
~when people mix r/l with the rp and cant leave past behind
~when people decide they are judge and jury over the rest of Gor and how it should go, even if they had nothing to do with what was going on
~when people can suddenly read minds and use it against another person

Thoughts used as a way of being disrespectful to another or using them as a way to do what you know you shouldn't , hate that

When you mix real life with roleplay.

1. slaves using actions to be disrespectful 2. those who do not understand a slave at the feet of a their Owner is “in service” 3. belief the past should be forgiven just because (some transgressions can't be forgotten especially from repeat offenders) 4. those who don’t understand the definition of slave

For starters: Who were you before, why are you playing a slave who doesn't know Gor when you do, not letting someone play their char how they want instead of how you want and lastly for now, coming into the role-play and placing me where you want me in the scene instead of finding out where I am.

Reading or watching r/p that is...... One example ..... Slave takes bread from toaster ....

People who have no concept or idea of what Gor is. The ones who post about horses and armor for instance. Read a book. The first one is a good place to start.

I hate when topic of room says '' make entrance to be noticed '' and you are typing your entrance then people beginning speaking to you as malia said '' placing me where you want me in the scene instead of finding out where I am " it drives me batty. Thiery what do you mean there is no armor in gor dang I was looking for the knight in shining armor to be my heros. j/k..!!

1st, All the 'welcomebak, hurryback, Tal again, etc... just from a moof minute or 'in or out' of cup. 2nd, Please cup if you are away from keyboard! huge irritant to expend engery talking to somone..then get No response. 3rd, Curtisy, to 'not go ooc' smack in middle of RP. I think most of 'those' ooc times are Far too trivial. But, if is that important, make Sure you preface sentence with ( OOC...and close with ) Editing can be a real bitch for 'fg's. who are made to copy. Clean Screen!

People trying to "win" every r/p interaction with intimidation/bullying tactics or trying to discredit/humiliate someone through using r/l or OOC information, bringing up completely irrelevant conversations showing the other person as being incorrect/misinformed about something, or trying to turn the whole chatroom against a person, all just to detract from their own shortcomings. There is no cash or prizes for having the upper hand in EVERY fucking situation. That's not what r/p is about.

I hate when someone enters and doesn't take the time to read the Welcome and Topic for clues about the room. Also, the constant greetings when one enters the chat area. What if You are rping in a city and you aren't necessarily in the same building as everyone else? And finally, if You engage in rp that is confrontational and think it's cute, it isn't. I don't want to "Hurt" someone's feelings if I deal with it in a logical fashion but Gor is Gor, not PUNK'd or JACKASS. Thank Y'all.

i'm usually never in the same area that folks enter most of the time i'm outside, folks should do a entrance and take time to find out where folks are before greeting impossible to greet if Your nowhere near them.

i hate when slaves say they cant be punished by anyone but there owner,and dont serve anyone else but there owner etc etc you get my drift i hope..the princess slaves

It would be nice if profiles were read. Some peeps put a lot of thought into them and they are good examples of character developement. Those vague ones are like ghost! Oh and slobbery thralls! Just....stop or see a Phy about that condition. :S

I would like to thank every One so far for their thoughts. It seems that many think along the same path ' I will condense this blog into a list and we can go from there. I have a few more as well: Safe rooms !!! I understand that all homes do not have Warriors and or may not know how to defend them selves, and with the numbers around that is fine I can respect that., BUT We need to define SAFE,,,, safe should not mean be able to do and say anything , without consequence.... You break basic Gor law etc it should be dealt with.
This idea slaves are little girls.. some people sound like pedophiles when speaking to them, They are enslaved WOMEN...thats a worry

I forgot this one : Homes The idea that any One can just wander in and open a home, To own run and rule a home the Person Leader etc needs to have decent gor knowledge for a start. All this Blog is a waste of time if Joe Blogs can just open a dump and call it Gor roleplay and allow bullshit Gor. This is the biggest hurdle We face....... GOR rp needs some basic control , just like any other, body, state, country etc, If You break or disregard the *Standard* then there has to be consequence.

Zones at all. Not saying anyone should be able to do anything they please because they simply CAN. But rather to have the adventure that is Gor and know that in your home and in others, your actions determine how you're going to get GOR; Role play that isn't anything more than serving and drinking or isn't cohesive enough to lay the framework for a story; failure to follow someone else's role play (again not saying there needs to be direct involvement, but at least don't discount it.

Great character ideas that really aren't developed (i.e. an Earth girl who is fluent in all things Gorean within 3 days or peasants who have second knowledge, can read and write more than what they need for their scope of knowledge); failure to follow through in connected role plays leaving characters hanging or without some sort of resolution that makes sense; lack of accountability on the part of free to other free and slaves; larls and other beasts of similar natures as pets.

FM who believe gor is about men and use that to state "I'll just collar you". People who pop in and sit there voyeuring a room. Idle sitting drives me crazy. If you have come to r/p, then r/p. Don't sit in a room for long periods of time and nothing is spoken. People who pop in just looking for one specific person to r/p with ie....a slave comes in looking for a specific FM or FW, then pops out when that person isn't there.

People who come into a room to speak in private message to a certain person without any kind of r/p, then once that is done, they pop right out of say goodbye then poof. Free Men who think all FW are wanting to fur them in private or they make passes at the FW thinking we are deprived of sex so we must want some in private messages. Weak Free persons who just can't handle the fact being Free is a strong position hold and should act the part, not always be so nicey nice.

Thralls and the FM version of them that continually change names but constantly harass FW (not sure much can be done about this); many celebrations of Earth culture, but few of Gorean culture; FM who don't know what it is to be a FM, ditto for FW and slaves; blogs used to attack rather than enhance role play; and in defense of slaves, not giving them a chance to role play in a meaningful way beyond serves and chores

I witnessed this first hand. Using thoughts to disrespect others whether free or slave. I am not pointing fingers but people should practice what they preach on the blogs.

Extreme negativity and people doing their best to knock down others with no thought of how their words could affect people.

Those that feel they have a say or right of approval of anything outside their own domain. Every man is the Ubar of his own home. By logical extension, it is only that home. Those that desire entry posts that would provide more information than is readily available upon entry. The idea that Gor is some sort of conceptual uniformity... Gor is Gor... when other that a small shared core of ideals, beliefs, and principles, it is much about diversity, as is show by the varied cultures.
