BASTARD

Life can be such a bastard

All kidding aside;

A lunatic fucktard

That can't be denied.

It’s a bitch and relentless.

The conflicts are real.

The battles are endless

And mighty surreal

She will taunt and guffaw

While you beg for the dregs,

And flaunt all your flaws

When you're on your last leg.

Moreover the victories

Outweigh the defeats,

If you don't let self pity

Force you to retreat.

Steer clear of the scoffers,

Don’t show them your frown

Take whatever life offers,

And turn it around.

When it’s over don’t linger,

Get over yourself.

Then flourish “the finger”

And get the hell out.
