I want to let y'all know that the prayers, good thoughts and wishes and encouraging words have helped Me and Mel in this confusing and scary time. This is her first ever hospital event! She has always been a healthy and active young woman, and the joy of My life (her and My sons) :)
Mel knows a few of you on Gor who are like family to Us (we adopt at will!) So I know that she is feeling your concerns and working to get better and back to her regular self as quickly as possible!
I will let everyone know what we find out about why this happened and Mel's status, okies? I love y'all who are here for us. Couldn't ask for better Peeps!

So am i like the drunken uncle, or maybe the brother in law that shows up once a year on Thanksgiving that never uses deodorant and always brings the potato salad?

UPDATE: Mel was moved up to a general ward. The tests are looking great, and hopefully We'll get Her back home Monday or Tuesday. (YAYS!!!) Encephalitis is an insidious condition, courtesy of Texas mosquitoes :| and I urge y'all to NEVER invite them into yer home! If you develop headaches that intensify over time and notice a change in appetite, SEE a doctor! Seizures are no joke. Love Y'all! (L)
You let a Democrat bite your daughter? Eesh... But I'm glad to hear of an improvement. I'm not much of a religious person, but i can try humor whenever you like, which is a medicine all by itself.
