To clarify...Never at any time has ALL Gor recognized any single standard on any issue whatsoever...lacking any universally recognized standard ...it has always reverted back to...No law is effective beyond your city walls.... Any city, camp, ship, wagon may adopt their own rules and endeavor to enforce them.... Any Group of sites may agree on a specific item and enforce it among themselves but not beyond.

Thank you, Cabot. And thank you also for ......allowing me to return to Gor as Kyrielle after 10 years gone with that name. I recognize and appreciate that you have likely taken very public hits for your decision.
To clarify, I do NOT appreciate that you have likely taken very public hits for your decision. I appreciate that by my request and for your choice you have been placed in a position TO take very public hits. A selfish request on my part for sure and certain, yet you did not hesitate. The only good I can find is it sets me as a horrid, bad example of what never to do. Finally ! I've found my place in Gor ! The worst example of a gorean. E_V_E_R ! No... that's way too dramatic. Nevermind.

Kyrie , you pay far to much attention to the opinion of others...you know in your heart who and what you are. To your own self be true. Chances are,
your critics will not be around when the echo dies.
Know also you have violated no commonly accepted standard. A few sites may have drafted some sort of prohibition, but it was never voted Gor wide.
Don't be offended because I spoke the truth...if I lie...then you can be offended...
The one who coined that old cliche " Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" never met you, Thiery. You've been hating on me ever since that day so many years ago. I'd say its about time you got over it and moved on.

The most glaring violation of those oft referred standards that I see often today, no matter how long a persona has been dead or gone, when that real life returns, very few even try to forget that past life and truly treat the new persona as a truly new person. The past is not forgotten nor forgiven. As a whole we do not treat....the past is past. For most..the past is alive and well... To Gor's detriment!
