[12:28a] ÅuďǿČąĩŋ steps 2ft toward Wamph before trying to slice the edge of my knife upward and slightly rt to left toward his left tricep

[12:31a] WamphW FC Bianciella steps 2ft to my rt trying to avoid the slice to my triceps

[12:32a] ÅuďǿČąĩŋ turns to face Wamph and steps toward him 3ft before trying to stab the tip of the knife downward toward his left shoulder blade

[12:35a] WamphW FC Bianciella sidesteps 1ft to the right, trying to avoid the downward blow while turning to face, trying to wait until the movement was past shoulder height before trying to slash rt to lft and slightly upwards with the gladius in My rt hand across his stomach

[12:37a] ÅuďǿČąĩŋ steps toward Wamph 1ft trying to push my lft palm toward his right forearm in an attempt to block his slash aimed at my gut, tries to punch him in the sternum with the knuckles of my right hand in a jabbing motion

[12:39a] WamphW FC Bianciella tries to step 1ft to the right and pivot 90 degrees on My rt foot, trying to avoid the punch by allowing to pass by My sternum. Trries to maintain the distance by following and matching his movements as I try to swipe the gladius in My left hand left to rt across the floor, trying to slice his lft foot

[12:42a] ÅuďǿČąĩŋ turns to face and tries to push off my right foot while trying to raise My left knee up toward his chin in an attempt to knee him in the jaw as well as avoid the swipe aimed at my left foot

[12:45a] WamphW FC Bianciella tries to leap back 2ft and to facing in an attempt to avoid his knee while simultaneously trying to slash across his left knee from lower rt to upper lft across the trajectory of the downward motion of his leap before he lands

[12:46a] ÅuďǿČąĩŋ tries to rush toward him 2.5 feet while trying to feint a rt to lft slash with my knife edge toward his gut before trying to throw my left elbow lft to rt toward his rt temple in an attempt to stun him

[12:48a] WamphW FC Bianciella tries to sidestep 3ft to My rt while at the same time trying to crouch 2ft in an attempt to both avoid his slash and duck under his elbow

[12:48a] WamphW FC Bianciella : done

[12:48a] JudasW claps

[12:48a] JudasW : well done Men

Echoes Judas' sentiment - nice work men!

Was so good to witness this, I've missed these types of events happening!

MemberSep 27, 2019 7:44 AM

In-party judgement had the bout scored a draw with 1 hit each. Judas to confirm when available.

Surely there is more to this? Wouldn't mind brushing up on the judging skills if I am to make any attempt at a return

Also, it doesn't seem to be any butt-hurt over this, so good work gents!

Well done Gentleman....a question...have things changed in the way a spar is done....it seems different

MemberSep 27, 2019 1:59 PM

TB Melee over 20 mins - what are you missing that you would be expecting to see?

QuinSep 27, 2019 2:09 PM

I admit I have been gone for 2 years but it seemed to me that the posts were shorter here in this spar...in some posts there was just a defensive or offensive move....there was not a judgment of distance between when attack began

QuinSep 27, 2019 2:14 PM

there was no mention of what weapons were to be used and in which hand they were held...no description of what you were wearin etc

QuinSep 27, 2019 2:20 PM

also there is no judgement during the progress of the spar....smiles...ok thats all

MemberSep 27, 2019 2:22 PM

it was all judged post the final blow, none of that has been copied in though

MemberSep 27, 2019 2:26 PM

With melee it all gets judged at the end as one job lot. The intro's hadn't been included in the scroll, it was just the basic attack and defense by the looks of it.

smiles :) have not seen a spar in some time thank you for allowing girl to read

QuinSep 27, 2019 3:32 PM

Yes I would agree...that part was well done...

BartSep 27, 2019 4:31 PM

quin asking the real questions that i didn't take the tme to. What I was looking for was the intent post, distance at start, weapons on each, and i didn't see an attack after the defensive move, so i was curious. It does look good though, and it's nice to see that there's no ensuing pissing contest after, but I don't know if this was friendly and 'planned' or if it was over a disagreement or just random or... you get it

Y’all should join the Port Kar group and read the entry with much more of the Spar posted.. its invigorating. https://www.buzzen.com/id/91/board/309/post/4074/page/1/goto/10467/group.html

It was friendly and good fun, it wasn't planned as such but the gathering was there for a different reason and so the participants did not miss out on an opportunity to spa. As Nyx said the full posts are on Port Kar website. I for one would welcome more of it. It had a taste of "Old Gor"?

Yes. It was a blast and a half. Watching professionals at their craft it always a good time for all.
