*gets the posting on the Thentis message board of a wagon for sale in Torcadino, it appears to be a nice wagon, contemplates a trip to take a look of this wagon or not....seeing the picture on the wagon, it looks in great shape for being two months old, the wheels are not warn down from the traveling, wonders of the inside... contemplates a tarn ride, but then the journey back home with the wagon would take a very long time, is it worth it???? hmmmmmm!

Yes. It’s definitely worth it not just for the wagon.

*will sleep on my thoughts of a trip to Torcadina to see the area as well as purchase a wagon, I could hire someone to drive it back to my home near Thentis, hmmms. I will wake refreshed and clear headed and talk to "Samuel, the tarnsman" in convincing him in flying me to take a look at this wagon, I wonder...how far is Torcadino from Thentis?

* after a night of sleep and a bit of pondering, I decided I would write a herlit letter out to the Free Man who is selling the wagon and see about making an appointment in seeing it. I sat down at my table with a cup of creamy sweetened black wine and a piece of rence paper with quill and ink, I wrote it out* Tal, Free Man. I am interested in touring and possibly purchasing the wagon you have posted for sale. I could book a flight to Torcadino and meet you. Please send back a response.....

with my herlit in where I need to meet you...location, time and date. I will arrange my tarn ride. I await your response." *signed....Sana Summerfield, Thentis!

~I was just finishing a game of kaissa against Rop; a player from Ar's Station that I met 2weeks before when I had taken lodging at the Inn with bana. My days had been spent practicing my caste, wandering Torcadino, Teaching bana the language of my home and playing kaissa. I had learned the game years ago in Tor when I was trying to entice Siimone with an employment opportunity in Asperiche. I leaned back with a sigh and slid a silver tarsk toward Rop, thinking that I had lost more games

than I had won, but Rop was a genial man and the weather was nice. There were worse days to spend a day. He grinned and said something about anoter game. I shook my head, smiled a little and said "tomorrow". He nodded, began gathering up the game pieces and nodded to the young slave girl shifting from foot to foot behind me. "I think you have another missive" he said as he took his game and looked for another victim...er….game. I turned, saw the girl and motioned her toward me. (2/3)

She approached, holding a scroll of rence paper to me. Nodding and taking it, I motioned for her to wait as I read the scroll. Finishing, I turned to bana, told her what is was about and told the inn keeper I wanted quill and ink along with some rence paper along with some kalana and 2 pieces of chocolate. I told the slave who I had waiting that I would send a reply with her along with coin to send the rence scroll by tarn to Thentis. I knew that 2 tarnsman would be flying (3/3+1)

there at the 16th Ahn looking for employment; they would deliver the reply for me. I handed bana and the young slave girl the chocolate, giving bana the largest piece of course. I then turned to write:

~Lady Sana, Thank you for your interest in the wagon and bosk. I will be in Torcadino staying at the Inn of Players for at least another three weeks. Its about a three and a half day flight by tarn with good winds, four maximum. I'll await your arrival and show you the items then. (3/3+2)

*walks down to the tarn cots where Samuel is with the message I had gotten from a tarnsman in regards to the wagon, holds the rence paper as I have to convince Samuel to take the journey to Torcadino. After reading the letter from the Free Man called Thiery, I decided I would take the trip if I can hire Samuel to take me. I only trust him in flying me places on his tarn. Sudden scent of tarn, one that isn't so pleasant drifts up to me when I draw closer. I know Samuel was training tonight...

*sees Samuel above as I waves towards him when he looks on down, watches from the base of the tarn cot as another tarnsman is with him. Seeing him descend down, I wait patiently thinking how to convince him a three and half day flight for a wagon....speaks to Samuel on casual conversation, then passes him the letter from the Free Man Thiery, the look on Samuel's face says a lot but I charm him with a dashing smile and promises of meals for months from the Inn, also about paying his lodging and.

*meals on the trip. He agrees to take me to Torcadino to meet this Free Man and see the wagon. Also I convince him that it helps us meet others and see the lands of Gor. Places we haven't been before. He knows my sense of adventure and wanting to spread the word of the Inn. I take the letter back and head home to the Inn to plan the trip, three and half days, I will go see the map maker in the city on the directions and places we will stop to rest. Walking back to the Inn my mind grows....

*excited being able to travel and see more of the world called Gor. Having travelers come to Thentis and share stories, this gives me a first hand knowledge of places I have not been. It might seem silly to others, a Free Woman, going off to travel to meet others and see places, but to me it was going to be amazing. A bounce to my normal steps is accented as I hurry inside, goes to through the Inn to the kitchen were Lucy my chef is and happily tells her of the trip. Lucystarts to plan the..

*meals we will need and lectures me of being safe, the daughter, she never had. I give her a hug and I head home to my little cabin on the mountain to pack, we will leave soon. Samuel, the tarnsman, will let me know in the morning when we depart. Three and half day travel...what would I bring and condense down in taking for the trip? I slip into the door and light the lanterns, I make a cup of cream laced black wine with sugar crystals, I sit at the table and reread the letter to ensure.....

*I have the details of where we will meet at....what is Torcadino like? I start to wonder.... (((When is a good time to meet up and actually role play the wagon and meeting, Thiery? Will you be opening Torcadino as a room? Or will it be all completed here in blogs?? Please let me know.....this could be fun r/p if we make it so.))))

(several days has pasted....time lapse...) After packing up and traveling by tarn with Samuel for the allotted days I was a bit tired from the journey. What did I get myself into I started to think? I was nervous but excited. I get to see parts of the world of Gor I have never been to. Was this purchasing of a wagon silly. Why yes it was! But You know what...why not take some risks and just go with it. This had gotten me in trouble many of times growing up on the plantation.....(more)

While waiting for the okay from Samuel I think of how my father had shook his head at me and sometimes his fist or belt. yes I was spanked and whipped even as a Free child for not listening or going on "adventures" that I called them. I smile knowing I will always be the adventurous woman my father raised me, but I also know the dangers...or do I? Looks up as the basket is opened and a beefy hand reaches in, unstraps myself I take Samuel's hand and pull myself out of the basket, stretching...

((and....I wait the room opening of Torcadino to begin the real role playing)) I have arrived to Torcadino!!!
