The interesting thing about presidential pardons is that you accept guilt of the crime in order to receive it.

Actually, they cannot be prosecuted as President so this scenario is not even possible.

How can anything get done if the other party would rather play politics at cost to the taxpayers.
I'd say both parties are to blame to the gridlock in congress, not just one or the other.
